Useless app! Followed instructions, got the pink screen on both phone and head unit, but with error code 9, followed by something about being unable to connect to server. Reset everything and tried again, but this time the phone thinks it's connected, while the head unit screen goes blank. Needed this for satnav, but it looks like it's getting returned. Absolute pos.

Très déçu par ce modèle! Si l'on excepte le prix fortement exagéré de la VREC Z810 SH, il faut compter 160€ de monte chez Feu Vert soit presque le prix de la dashcam elle même!! Donc, j'ai fait le montage moi même, après avoir galéré à chercher des infos sur le web... Enfin, les options vantées sur ce produit ne sont pas à la hauteur!! Le réglage 4K est très loin d'être performant, l'image est pixelisée lors qu'on visionne les vidéos sur PC et ne permet pas de relever une plaque d'immatriculation comme précisé dans la notice! Le système d'avertissement de franchissement de ligne se met en route inopinément même quand je ne franchit pas de ligne, même quand il n'y a pas de ligne blanche sur la route!!! un comble pour un produit de ce prix!! J'envoie ce jour ce message au SAV Pioneer: "Bonjour, J'ai acheté le 5/08/2024 la dashcam VREC-Z810SH au magasin F.. V. à Nîmes. Après avoir effectué tous les branchements conformément à la notice de montage (avant et après contact), la dash cam ne retient pas les réglages effectués dans les paramètres. Le dispositif de franchissement de ligne se met continuellement en route, alors même que je ne franchit pas la ligne et que je l'ai désactivé! La dash cam prend des photos de façon inopinée et le dispositif d'enregistrement de vidéo d'urgence rentre en fonction à la moindre bosse ou dos d'âne. Par ailleurs, même réglée en format d'enregistrement 4K, les vidéos enregistrées sont de piètre qualité et sûrement pas en 4K, les plaques d'immatriculation des véhicules filmés sont illisibles. Inutile de vous dire que je suis totalement insatisfait de ce produit qui ne répond pas aux exigences présentées. Je demande donc soit un échange, soit un remboursement. Dois-je retourner ce produit au magasin d'achat ou directement à vos services. Merci de bien vouloir m'informer de la procédure à suivre. Cordialement, P. G."

What is the name of app connected with Pioneer Hud?

The app is good in principle, but it could be best improved by actually working. This failed to connect properly after connecting a Samsung phone with a factory cable. I understand it's picky, if it's THAT pedantic about the usb cables that a Samsung one won't work, perhaps Pioneer should be bundling "compatible" cables with the head units instead of letting us fart around for several hours with no result at the end. Avoid.

Pioneer dashcam de merde avec une application qui ne fonctionne pas je regrette d'avoir acheté ce produit. A l'image de vos systèmes audio mobile de merde qui promette beaucoup mais qui sont en fait mensonges. Je ne recommande pas non plus ça et Je préfère aller à la concurrence sans hésiter.

Uno de los peores radios de la marca, dos años de usarlo para no perder la inversión y lo unico que funciona bien es la radio. El resto de las app, se traban, cuesta conectar el WiFi y super lento el funcionamiento. Pésimo producto

I fitted one of these to my smart 453 fortwo using the add on Pioneer CA-SS-SMA.001 adapter found in the CA-HR-SMA-EVO.001 kit. Almost everything functions including the steering wheel controls. However, even after adding the CA-BC-6V.001 reversing camera box that's supposed to make the existing reversing camera work, it doesn't show anything when in reverse. It doesn't even flash up with a blank screen when I put it in reverse. When I turn the camera on in the settings and go to the camera view page, nothing is shown.

This feature is no good unless your phone is true 16:9. The screen displays your phones true aspect ratio which causes the display to be even smaller than your actual phone
